Take a break, get inspired, and learn a bit more about Sarah Stoltzfus Allen. Here is our twist on an interview.
- A quote that inspires you:
“If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.” -G.K. Chesterton
- Your writing process described as a song:
- You’re a writer so tell us with your words why you write. But please don’t bore us:
I have no deep reason that I write. I write because it feels good to get the floss in my head organized onto paper. I write because it helps me make sense of the world around me.
- What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?
You should check out a piece that I wrote about questioning faith, and the peace that it brings. “In the House of God” was published in the September 2015 issue of The Sacred Cow.
Sarah is a wife and mom 24/7, an administrative assistant by day, and a writer in all the free (and not so free) spaces of the day. She runs on coffee and good intentions. Her work can be seen in Ink in Thirds, The Sacred Cow, and her personal blog.
See you next week with another not-so-typical interview.
