I write to examine the notion I hold that the best poem suggests its own futility, that the world will eventually devour and dismiss every word I put down. These are true, but mostly I write because there is always some simmering story, some pain, some truth in the mundane.

  • What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?
