#FeatureFriday – Sergio Ortiz

Take a break, get inspired, and learn a bit more about Sergio Ortiz. Here is our twist on an interview.

  • A quote that inspires you:

  • Your writing process described as a song: Dave Brubeck – Take Five

  • You’re a writer so tell us with your words why you write. But please don’t bore us:

I can’t avoid writing. It’s something I must do and have not control over.

  • What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?

The Griffon’s Impulse” was published in Algebra of Owls

Sergio A. Ortiz is a two-time Pushcart nominee, a six-time Best of the Web nominee, and 2016/17 Best of the Net nominee. His chapbook, An Animal Resembling Desire, will be published by Finishing Line Press in 2018. He is currently working on his first full-length collection of poems, Elephant Graveyard.

See you next week, with another not-so-typical interview.
