#FeatureFriday – Tara Isabel Zambrano

Take a break, get inspired, and learn a bit more about Tara Isabel Zambrano. Here is our twist on an interview.

  • A quote that inspires you:

  • Your writing process described as a song: Coldplay – Don’t Panic

  • You’re a writer so tell us with your words why you write. But please don’t bore us:

I write to expose myself, to feel bliss between suffering, pain between joy. I write to pinpoint at a certain space-time coordinate and say, Yes, here, I exist. I write to bridge the gap between realization and words. I write so some day I can face the inevitable with grace.

  • What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?

“Spin”  published in The Cincinnati Review miCRo feature

Tara Isabel Zambrano lives in Texas and is an electrical engineer by profession. Her work has has been published or is forthcoming in Tin House Online, Slice, The Cincinnati Review, Yemassee, The Minnesota Review and others.
