#FeatureFriday – Adam Lock

Take a break, get inspired, and learn a bit more about Adam Lock. Here is our twist on an interview.

  • A quote that inspires you:

  • Your writing process described as a song: Bon Iver – Holocene
  • You’re a writer so tell us with your words why you write. But please don’t bore us:

I’ve been writing consistently for four years, and now I can’t imagine not writing. Although frustrating at times, writing gives me something creative and positive to focus on. It makes me see the world critically, makes me slow down and filter what it feels like to be alive. This all sounds rather deep, but writing really does amaze me. Given some time, when I look back on stories I’ve written, I find it remarkable that what I’m reading came out of my head. The connection between what is written and the subconscious mind both fascinates and surprises me. I write because I love the creative process and because I can’t paint, and I tried playing the guitar but it was way too hard.

  • What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?
