#FeatureFriday – Victoria Melekian

Take a break, get inspired, and learn a bit more about Victoria Melekian. Here is our twist on an interview.

  • A quote that inspires you:

  • Your writing process described as a song: Cowboy Junkies – 200 More Miles
  • You’re a writer so tell us with your words why you write. But please don’t bore us:

Tangles, snarls, fender benders, printer jams, salt shaker in the refrigerator—things that happen when I don’t write.

  • What is a recent story or poem you’ve had published elsewhere that we should read?

Survey of Windows” published in Monkeybicycle

Victoria Melekian is a Pushcart nominee and runner-up in the 2018 Bath Flash Fiction Novella-in-Flash Award. Recently retired from court reporting, she now works in her son’s business and is in love with the three-mile commute.
