Alex, 38, living in Russia, first showed interest in photography during his early years. His parents were always perplexed as to why he took photos of a tree’s reflection in puddles, or sunlight on the windowsill, rather than photos of his grandparents. Alex calls his style Contemplative Photography or Haiku Photography. Alex advocates photographs are, first of all, not electronic images. He presents his photos in exhibitions, magazines, calendars and postcards which he sends worldwide.
